Educational Session Presenter
Guidelines:
- Appearing before colleagues in the camp profession is an honor and privilege.
- It is expected that participants speaking at Mid States register for the conference.
- It is expected that presenters consider the conference theme when preparing for their session. Proposals that include the conference theme are considered above other proposals.
- All related expenses for registration, travel, hotel accommodations and meals will be at the presenter’s expense.
- It is expected that speakers are available to present anytime during the conference schedule. Presentation date and time will be at the discretion of the Program Committee.
- All education sessions are 1 ¼ hours (75 minutes).
- Session presenters are asked to provide appropriate handouts. Person’s giving art and cooking sessions may apply to the Program Chair for limited reimbursement if supplies prior to the conference. All other costs are at the presenter’s expense.
- All rooms are equipped with a flip chart and markers. Presenters are encouraged to provide their own AV equipment. Screens, overheads, and extension cords are available on a very limited basis and must be requested on the Call for Presenters form.
- Presenters are required to refrain from promotion of their specific products or services during the education session.
- Confirmations will be emailed out by November 15th.
